With Steyning on full attack in the first half and a splendid defensive display by the Ashington U10's Red plus some great saves by Ashington's keeper meant that the sides went into half time with everything to play for.
Ashington notched up the pressure in the second half, and both defences were tested at either end of the pitch with both sides being rewarded throughout the second half.
With both teams playing well, a fair result at the end of a great game.
With the first half underway play moved quickly from one end to the other and it appeared the game could easily go either way with Ashington using the second game as an opportunity to change players positions around and try some new tactics.
Steyning proved the more dominant in the second half and pressed Ashington hard for the final 20 minutes with the Ashington defences being tested throughout.
Another great game with both teams putting in 100% and played in exactly the right spirit.
